Fannie Hill (Minter) Simms
(1846-1923)
Fannie Hill (Minter) Simms was born in Marion County, Georgia on November 25, 1846 to Joseph Thomas "Pappy" Minter and Sarah Ann (Carter) Minter. Fannie married Thomas Levi Simms on October 5, 1865 in Hopkins County, Texas. Thomas and Fannie had 11 children together. Fannie died September 29, 1923, preceded in death by her husband Thomas in 1905.
Thomas Levi Simms (b.1841 - d.1905) and Fannie Hill (Minter) Simms (b.1846 - d.1923). The picture of Tom was made when he was about 16 y/o, and is a reproduction of a tintype. Tom was born in Coweta County, Georgia.
Mary Elizabeth (Parnell) McGlammery (b.1855 - d.1892). Her daughter, Nora, was wed to Matthew Ashcroft Simms (b.1879 - d.1949). He was a son of Tom and Fannie Simms.

Carrie Ann (Simms) Hargrove
(b. 1867 - d.1920), eldest daughter of Thomas and Fannie Simms.
Benjamin McGill Simms (b.1881 - d.1955), and wife Annie Lawrence (Brooks) Simms (b. ?? - d. ??). Ben is a son of Tom and Fannie Simms.
Guy Mortimer Hargrove (b.1867 - d.1930), husband of Carrie Ann Simms. They married on October 8, 1885.
L-R: Robert Glen Cole (b.1893 - d.1975), Martha Ellen (Cole) Sanneman (b.1930 - d.1985) & Garie Andrews (Simms) Cole (b.1889 - d.1982). Garie was the eleventh child of Tom & Fannie Simms. Glen Cole was Garie's second husband. She married Glen on May 17, 1915 in Dallas, TX, after the death of her first husband, Will Henry. Will and Garie had one son, Simms Thomas Henry (b.1909 - d.1957).
Sibyl Gloria (Nunnelly) Reese (b.1918 - d.1996), was the daughter of James Reginald Nunnelly and Lula Buster (Hargrove).
Vivian (Nunnally) Nester (b. 1916 - d. 1997), was the daughter of Lula (Hargrove) and James Reginald Nunnelly.
Lula Buster Hargrove (b.1897 - d.1975), was the daughter of Guy and Carrie Ann (Simms) Hargrove. Lula married James Reginald Nunnelly in 1915. They had two daughters together.
John Marion Jones (b.1876 - d.1937), 2nd husband to Lula Buster Hargrove.
Daniel Marion "Danny" Jones (b. ??) and his second wife, Janice Ray (King). Danny is the son of Jay Marion (b.1925 - d.2015) and Geraldine "Jerry" (Clark) Jones (b.1929 - d.2019).
